Techase® Multi-plate Screw Press for Municipal & Industrial Wastewater Treatment

Introduction:
Techase® Multi-plate Screw Press , developed by Shanghai Techase Environment Protection Co., Ltd with  cooperation with Tongji University, is a new, advanced, easy-to-operate sludge dehydrator with low capital construction and maintenance cost, which solves the problems that traditional dewatering equipment, such as belt filter press, centrifuges, plate and frame filtr presses usually have:  blocking, great power consumption, complicated operation and maintenance, not applicable to low-concentrated sludge and oily sludge., not able to operate continuously.




Constructive Principle:

1.Main part of the Multi-Disk Screw Press is a filter unit consists of one screw and two kinds of rings, the fixed rings and moving rings overlapped with each other. The forepart is concentration zone and the back part is dewatering zone.
2.The gaps between the fixed rings and moving rings, and the pitch of the screw narrows down gradually from the concentration zone to dewatering zone.
3.Sludge enters the Multi-Disk Screw Press, and makes its way down the drum in accordance with the rotation of the screw, from the concentration zone to dewatering zone, the constant movement of the moving rings in the gaps combs the gaps and prevents the occurrence of clogging.
4.The thickened sludge was transferred to the dewatering zone, in this zone, the gaps between the rings and screw pitch gradually narrow, and the end plate blocks the flow, thereby, narrowing the volume and increasing the pressure encourage the dewatering process.
